Earlier this week Fred Fifer III Middle School served as the site for an announcement by U.S. Senator Chris Coons about a $215,000 state grant that will expand the services of the Best Buddies Delaware program! Fifer students joined the Senator and representatives from Best Buddies to make the announcement.

Delaware Best Buddies Inclusion Project for Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities - The purpose of this project is to allow Best Buddies to expand to an additional 14 schools in Delaware and reach an additional 1,050 students with inclusive programming that supports students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
