(Wyoming, DE)  Caesar Rodney School District is pleased to announce that Nicole Jones will serve as the next principal of Dover Air Base Middle School.  Current DABM principal Dr. David Santore is retiring.   His last day is February 15th.

Mrs. Jones comes to DABM from Nellie H. Stokes Elementary School, also in the Caesar Rodney School District, where she has been serving as principal since 2012.

“It is my distinct honor and privilege to serve as the next principal of Dover Air Base Middle.  I am looking forward to working alongside the amazing staff and school community.” remarked Ms. Jones.

Under her leadership, Stokes has been the recipient of four State Recognition Awards in the last 5 years.

Before becoming an administrator at Stokes, she served as a 5th grade teacher, academic liaison teacher (ALT), and as assistant principal.   Prior to coming to Caesar Rodney, she was a middle school mathematics teacher.

“It is my goal to continue the tradition of excellence to which the community has grown accustomed.   I truly believe you always have to finish stronger than where you start and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.” said Ms. Jones.

Ms. Jones will officially start at DABM on February 16, 2017.  However, she will be visiting intermittently prior to that date to acclimate herself to the instructional and operational culture of the school and to meet the staff and students.

We look forward to Dover Air Base Middle School’s continued success under her leadership.
