2017-2018 CR SCHOOL BELL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
The State of Delaware is experiencing a severe bus driver shortage
and the Caesar Rodney School District is taking proactive steps to keep our buses running.
With the alignment of bell times for both the secondary and elementary schools,
we have dramatically increased our efficiency as each bus can service both sets of schools.
Double runs means fewer drivers are needed and cuts transportation costs as well.
Furthermore, the bell time alignment allows for more middle school students
to attend high school classes for distance learning experiences.
The change was made out of necessity - primarily due to bus routes being refused
or dropped by our bus contractors and their inability of finding bus drivers.
After a community committee studied the issue, a decision was made to change start
times so that we were still able to provide transportation services to our families.
Early Dismissal Times are TBA. Please share. Thank you.
We encourage staff members to nominate teachers in the District who have been role models for other teachers and students, active in District activities, and have played a vital role in developing the curriculum which guides our students and classrooms.
We encourage parents and community members to nominate teachers whom they recognize for their outstanding teaching techniques and their love of students and knowledge.
We encourage students to nominate teachers who are or have been positive influences in their lives, have made school a "great" place to be, and have shared wonderful experiences with them through the educational process.
Nominations forms are available in each school building's main office and on the Caesar Rodney website. Completed nomination forms are to be returned to the nominee's school.
