GACEC Disability History and Awareness Month Poster Contest Through November 12th
Poster Info Download HereThe GACEC (Governor’s Advisory Council for Exceptional Citizens) is the state advisory panel for IDEA in Delaware. Since 2011, the GACEC has helped all Delaware schools to observe Disability History and Awareness Month (https://gacec.delaware.gov/disability-history-awareness/) during the month of October. A large part of that observation is the poster contest. GACEC was unable to hold the poster contest over the past two years due to the pandemic and re-start of in-person classes. They have brought the poster contest back this year and are looking forward to seeing the awesome artwork produced by students from across the State. If you have any questions about the poster contest, please contact the GACEC office.

The Caesar Rodney School District recognizes that all of our students are unique learners. We take a whole child approach to each individual student. Accordingly, we offer a continuum of services, programs and supports to ensure our students’ success. The Division of Student Services champions this work throughout all District Schools under the guidelines of The United States Department of Education and the Delaware Department of Education.
We are here to help – if your child is struggling physically, academically, behaviorally or socially contact us or your school Principal. Early intervention is the key to success.
