Mrs. Bartolomeo is a Title One Instructional Paraprofessional at WB Simpson Elementary School. She has taught reading as part of the Reading Intervention Team at Simpson since 2007 and has also worked in the Capital School District.  Mrs. Bartolomeo is retired from the United States Air Force with 25 years of service. An avid volunteer, she has been an Odyssey of the Mind judge since 2008. She is married to James and has three children who all attended Caesar Rodney High School.

Mrs. Burawski currently resides in Delware with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time watching her children play softball for Polytech High School.

Mrs. Dawn Card is the librarian at WB Simpson Elementary school in Camden, Delaware. She began her career in education at the J. Ralph McIlvaine Early Childhood Center in 2005. Wanting to diversify grade levels, she moved to WB Simpson in 2012 where she taught 1st grade for two years.  Prior to teaching, Mrs. Card served in the USAF. She retired from the 512th Airlift Wing, Dover AFB in 2016, after 27 years of military service. She is married to her husband Brad, and they have two daughters, Megan and Madeleine.  They all reside in Magnolia, DE.

I began my career in education with the Smyrna School District in 1999 as a Special Education teacher. After six years teaching in Smyrna I moved to North Carolina. I taught Elementary Education for Brunswick County Schools for 8 years. In 2013, I returned home to Delaware and joined the Caesar Rodney Family. At WB Simpson, I began as a Special Education teacher. Last year I finished my 2nd to 3rd grade loop with a wonderful group of students. Beginning the 2017-18 school year I will be joining the Chinese Immersion Program as a 4th grade teacher.

Lindsey taught in Pennsylvania for four years as a special education teacher as well as a 4th grade teacher.  Lindsey taught kindergarten at McIlvaine for two years starting in 2013, before coming to teach 1st grade at W.B. Virginia (Bartie) Kelly is currently a paraprofessional at W.B. Simpson Elementary School.  Since coming to WBS in 2005 she has served in the capacity of paraprofessional for three years, taught third grade for five years, and taught fourth grade for three years. Prior to teaching she retired from MBNA America Bank as an Assistant Vice President with 23 years of service. Mrs. Kelly and her husband Chris have been married for 45 years. They have two daughters – all graduates of Caesar Rodney High School, and they currently enjoy spending time with their six grand children ranging in ages from 2 to 14.

Helping ALL students achieve is my passion and part of my defined role at W.B. Simpson. I help coordinate specialized programing and reasources within the school as well as support teachers. Part of my role deals with compliance at both the district and state level that is attached to specialized services. I enjoy interacting with students through various club offerings or visiting classrooms. I also serve as W.B. Simpson's Leadership Chairperson and work closely with various projects that relate to our school's key priorities. I am also a member of Caesar Rodney's Fine Arts Council and work closely with the district's Student Services Department. A fun fact about me is that I am also a combat fitness instructor at First State Martial Arts in Camden, DE and Delaware Bushido Academy in Smyrna, DE.

Andrea Puglia is a district-wide Occupational Therapist. She is a native of Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds a Certificate of Advanced Practice in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation From Drexel University. Prior to moving to Delaware, she was a traveling Occupational Therapist practicing OT in various medical facilities throughout the United States working with children and adults in the areas of orthopedics, neurology, cardiac care, and outpatient specializing in treatment of traumatic hand injuries. Upon moving to Delaware she worked at a local hospital and served an Adjunct Facility at Del Tech in the Occuptional Therapist Assistant Program. This is Mrs. Puglia's fourth year in the Caesar Rodney District.

Dr. Lori Smith is a 4th Grade Teacher at W.B. Simpson Elementary who has been with the Caesar Rodney School District for 11 years. This is her first year at Simpson and she is very excited to be here! Dr. Smith has been teaching for 19 years in both the public and private sectors. She received her Undergraduate and Masters degrees from the Virgina Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and her Doctorate from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  Dr. Smith also holds the Montessori Certification Lead Teachers Levels I and II.

Mrs. Taraboletti has been working in Caesar Rodney School District for 14 years. During that time she has worked with Pre-K through 12th grade children in a variety of settings. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from East Stroudsburg Univeristy. Mrs. Taraboletti enjoys creating materials for her students and keeping therapy "fun" and "functional." She lives in Camden, DE with her husband and two children.

Mrs. Sandra Tinsley

Mrs. Sandra Tinsley is a 4th/5th grade looping teacher.  She has been with the W. B. Simpson family since 2009. She started as a 4th grade teacher at Simpson. Her first teaching job was in 1990 teaching at N. H. Stokes Elementary in the Caesar Rodney School District teaching 1st grade. She has also taught 1st grade in the Appoquinimink School District.  In Kentucky she taught 2nd/3rd grade combination and in Maryland she taught 4th grade. In Texas she was an Accelerated Reading Instructor which supported Kindergarten through 2nd grade students with reading. Mrs. Tinsley was Simpson’s Teacher of the Year for the 2012-2013 school year. Mrs. Tinsley loves teaching the students who enter her classroom at the W. B. Simpson Elementary School.

Ms. Alexandra Topa teaches 4th and 5th grade looping cycle at WB Simpson Elementary. She is currently in her fourth year of teaching. Ms. Topa graduated from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA in 2014 and has taught at Simpson ever since. She loves to have fun with teaching and tries to create a comfortable environment in the classroom - full of learning and laughs!

I am a paraprofessional and I have been working for W.B.Simpson Elementary School and the Caesar Rodney School District for the last thirteen years. I worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional for six years. For the last seven years Ihave worked as a Title I paraprofessional working under the direct supervision of W.B.Simpson's Reading Specialist. I attended Delaware Technical and Community College and I received my degree in Para-educator Technology. I was born and raised in Athens, Greece and I am a Naturalized citizen of the United States of America since 1997. I live in Dover with my two sons.

Chunyang Yang is a second grade Chinese Immersion Program teacher at W.B. Simpson Elementary School. Ms. Yang earned her Master of Education degree from University of Maryland, College Park and earned her Bachelor degree from Towson University. This is Ms. Yang’s third year in Delaware, Ms. Yang really enjoys the life in Delaware and she is very excited to be a part of Simpson Family. She really enjoy teaching and learning with her wonderful students. Ms. Yang favorite things to do are traveling and singing.
