Welcome to another fantastic school year at Fred Fifer III Middle School. The same high expectations for student learning, behavior, and citizenship will continue during the 2016-2017 school year. As always, we will emphasize hard work and determination. During the summer break, teachers attended professional development classes and refined their skills to better meet the needs of every student under RTTT and NCLB. We warmly invite all of you to join us as we strive to increase student's achievement because we know that with you as our active partners the students at Fred Fifer III Middle School will do their personal best.
Our mission is clear and vital. Our school is committed to promoting, enhancing and sustaining students’ academic achievement in a safe learning environment and to assist our community of learners in developing the skills to become responsible, good citizens. Together we have high expectations for students’ learning, a determination to be successful, and plans for many celebrations to acknowledge our accomplishments so every child is successful in their own right.
Our school exemplifies the positive results that occur when staff, parents, students, and the community work together. Teaching, learning, changing, and improving; we each need to do our part. We focus on the positive and work with integrity. We believe that communication between home and school is vital to our success.
Copies of the 2016-2017 handbooks will be given to each student on the first day of school and a copy of the handbook is also provided online to clarify the district's and school's policies and procedures to you, as you acquaint yourself with the school. Please keep this handbook in a safe place so that you may refer to it throughout the year.Mr. Brian Smith
