Wheres The Bus

The Caesar Rodney School District is pleased to offer Where’s the Bus, a secure and user-friendly tool that allows families to track their child’s school bus in real time. Whether you're planning your morning or keeping an eye on afternoon arrival, this service helps keep you informed and prepared.

With Where’s the Bus, you can:

  • View your student’s assigned bus number

  • See the estimated pick-up time each day

  • Track the bus in real time through the app or website

Where’s the Bus Perks

  1. Always know where your child’s bus is

  2. Refreshes every 15 seconds for the most accurate arrival times
    – Check back frequently for updates as routes change often
    – Afternoon route times may vary due to delayed departures from schools

  3. Calculates traffic, traffic lights, and road closures for more precise ETAs
    Please note: A student ID number is required to create an account.

Getting Started

To use this service, you’ll need to create an account. Follow the steps below:

1. Create an Account
Download the WheresTheBus app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and click the Create Account button.

Visit wheresthebus.com and click the Create Account button.

2. Select Our District
From the drop-down menu, choose Caesar Rodney School District.

3. Add a Student
Click the Add Student button and enter your child’s date of birth and student ID number.

Once your account is set up and your student is added, you’ll be able to view their bus details at any time by logging in through the app or website.
