The Caesar Rodney School District transports over 7,800 students daily. To complete this we use over 100 buses, make over 2,000 stops and cover over 1,100 miles every school day. We are the only district that provides free student tracking for all families using student-specific badges and GPS data. Our owned and operated buses are the only fleet in the state running on 100% propane-fueled buses as of SY19-20. (Propane engines have a lower carbon content than conventional gasoline and diesel engines according to the U.S. Department of Energy.)
