Instruction and Instructional Support
Caesar Rodney is committed to providing exceptional learning opportunities for all students, including those who require supports, accommodations, and modifications. Meeting the needs of the individual student is critical in providing the appropriate opportunities for students to make continued progress. Understanding how to guide instruction and support for students in accordance with the IEP or 504 plan is of the utmost importance. Professional development opportunities are provided, as the district is committed to equipping staff members with the most current and innovative practices with curriculum, instruction, and assessments. Staff development areas include, but are not limited to, understanding the needs of unique learners, supporting students with autism, providing universal and individualized supports, social skill development, as well as applying behavioral and instructional support strategies.
