Weapons Detection



The Caesar Rodney School District is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all students, staff, families, and guests. As part of this ongoing effort, weapons detection systems are being used at various large-scale school events, including home sporting events, homecoming, and other district-hosted activities.
These systems are one of several proactive measures designed to help ensure a positive and protected atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
What to Expect at an Event:

Arrival Time
Please plan to arrive a few minutes earlier than usual to allow time for the security screening process. -
Screening Process
All attendees will pass through a weapons detection system upon entry. This is a quick and noninvasive procedure. Nothing needs to be removed from your pockets—common personal items such as keys, coins, sunglasses, watches, and cell phones will not trigger the system. The system is designed to detect weapons only, helping to streamline entry without unnecessary delays. -
