Mathematics

The Caesar Rodney School District (CRSD) has adopted the Math Common Core State Standards (CCSSS ) as their core math curriculum for all K-12 students.  Using the Math CCSS as a foundation, CRSD has purchased high-quality instructional materials for all its math courses in order to foster mathematical competency through the 8 Mathematical Practices: (1.) make sense of problems and persevere in solving them; (2.) reason abstractly and quantitatively; (3.) construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others; (4.)  model with mathematics; (5.) use appropriate tools strategically; (6.) attend to precision; (7.) look for and make use of structure; and (8.) look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning.  For more information on the 8 Mathematical Practices, click here.
