Ms. Jessica Marelli - President (Term expires 2028)
Jessica Marelli was first elected as a Board Member in 2014 and previously served as President from 2017-2020. A graduate of Claremont High School in Claremont, California Jessica received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Sciences from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Jessica has three children who all attended the Caesar Rodney School District.

Mr. David Failing - Vice President (Term expires 2026)
David Failing has been a member of the Caesar Rodney School Board since 2017. He is a 1975 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, and is a founding partner of the Wyoming Millwork Company, in operation since 1994. Mr. Failing has four children; two are presently school administrators, one graduated from CRHS in 2021, and one is still a student at the High School.

Mr. Mike Marasco - Member (Term expires 2026)
Mike Marasco has been a member of the Caesar Rodney School Board since 2016 and was Board President from 2020-2022. He is a 1991 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and president/owner of several Wyoming businesses, including Tre Sorelle Dolce Ice Cream and Lawns Plus Landscaping. Mike lives in Wyoming with his wife Becky, a science teacher at the High School. He and his wife have three daughters, one who graduated from CRHS in 2017, one who graduated from CRHS in 2022, and the youngest is a student at Fifer Middle School.

Dr. Joyce Denman - Member (Term expires 2025)
Joyce Denman was first elected to the School Board in 2019 for a one year term to fill the seat vacated by William Bush, she was re-elected for a five year term in 2020. Dr. Denman has been in education since 1974, after graduating from the California University of Pennsylvania and moving to Delaware to start a teaching career. Subsequent educational degrees were earned from the University of Delaware (’80 and ’06). After 44 years as an educator (32 years as a classroom teacher and 12 years as a Director of Special Education), Dr. Denman retired from the state of Delaware in 2018. Joyce and her husband, William, have three children who graduated from Caesar Rodney High school (’05, ’06, ’08) and have all gone on to have successful careers with their comprehensive K-12 “Rider” education. As a community member and retired educator, Dr. Denman looks forward to using her experience and knowledge to work in ways that continuously improve educational opportunities for all children in the Caesar Rodney School District.

Mrs. Nicole Hill (Term expires 2027)
Nicole Hill was elected as a member of the School Board in 2023. She is a 1996 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, and received a Bachelor of Science from Delaware Valley University and a Master of Science from Wesley College. She is the Kent County Coordinator for Read Aloud Delaware, a non-profit promoting the importance of childhood literacy. Nicole lives in Dover with her husband, Kyle, a Special Education Resource Teacher with Caesar Rodney School District. They have three children that attend Caesar Rodney schools.
