Superintendent's Message
 

Rider Nation:

We are thrilled to welcome over 8,200 students back to the Caesar Rodney School District for another exciting year of learning and growth.   This summer has been a busy one for our district. Our custodial and maintenance teams have been hard at work ensuring that our buildings are in top shape for the return of staff and students.   Our dedicated teachers have been preparing engaging and challenging lessons to inspire every student.   Additionally, our cafeteria staff have been busy getting the kitchens ready to serve nutritious meals to both students and staff. 

Star Hill Elementary is proud to welcome over 350 students for the 2024-2025 school year, serving children from Pre-K through fifth grade. The reopening of Star Hill Elementary plays a vital role in helping our district accommodate the growing student population across our community.

This school year, one of our top priorities is maximizing instructional time for both staff and students. A key aspect of this initiative is reducing the use of electronic devices and cell phones during school hours.  As we implement this policy across the district, we kindly ask for your support. We understand this may be an adjustment for students and families, but by working together, we can ensure that this change fosters a more positive and focused learning environment in our schools.
