Superintendent’s Message
Dear Caesar Rodney Families,
As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to each of you. The start of a new year brings new opportunities—for learning, for growth, and for setting the tone for what we value most in Caesar Rodney. This year, we’re guided by a simple but powerful message: Excellence is our standard.
Excellence isn’t a destination—it’s a daily commitment. It shows up in every classroom where our teachers challenge and support students to reach their potential. It’s reflected in the work of our custodial, transportation, nutrition, and support staff who create safe and welcoming spaces for learning. And it’s lived out through the dedication of our administrators and families who work in partnership to help every child succeed.
This year, Star Hill Elementary celebrates 100 years of serving students and families in our district. We’re proud to honor the legacy of a school that continues to grow, adapt, and inspire generation after generation.
We’re also proud of the many accomplishments across our schools last year. Caesar Rodney High School was named one of the Top 10 high schools in Delaware by U.S. News and World Report. Our students gave back to the community in record numbers through service projects across the district. And from soccer and tennis to track and field and wrestling, we celebrated multiple state championship wins that reflect the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes and coaches. These achievements remind us what’s possible when we commit to Every Rider, Every Day – It’s the Rider Way. This theme captures our belief that every student matters, every staff member plays a vital role, and every day is a chance to grow, lead, and succeed.
At Caesar Rodney, we believe that every student deserves access to high-quality instruction in a safe, caring environment. As we move forward together this year, our shared commitment to that belief—and to the standard of excellence—will guide everything we do.
Wishing all of our students, families, and staff a successful and rewarding school year.
Go Riders!
