Dr. Corey Miklus - Superintendent
Dr. Corey Miklus began his educational career as an elementary teacher at Star Hill Elementary in 1998. He coached soccer at Caesar Rodney High School as the Assistant Varsity Coach in 1999-2003 and the Head Wrestling Coach at F. Niel Postlethwait Middle School. In 2003, Dr. Miklus began his administrative career at Caesar Rodney as the Assistant Principal at W.B. Simpson Elementary School until 2007 when he accepted a position at Woodbridge Elementary School (National Blue Ribbon School) as their Principal. He returned to Caesar Rodney in 2009 as the Principal of Nellie Hughes Stokes Elementary (National Blue Ribbon School) until 2012. Dr. Miklus served the CR district as the Supervisor of Instruction from 2012-2014. His path then took him to Seaford School District in 2014 where he served as their Director of Instruction, Assistant Superintendent, and finally the Seaford School District Superintendent. During this time, their schools went from Focus Plus to National Blue Ribbon, Schools of Continued Excellence, and Recognition Schools.
Dr. Miklus and his wife, Barbara, live in the district and have two children who attend Caesar Rodney High School. Dr. Miklus enjoys staying active by participating in outside activities, exercising, and watching Philadelphia sports teams.
