Charles Brooks Jr.

Charles Brooks Jr. serves as a Mental Health Counselor at Caesar Rodney High School, where he has spent the past four years supporting students’ emotional well-being and academic success. Charles is dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and providing students with practical coping skills for life’s challenges.

In his role, he provides individual and group counseling, conflict resolution, and restorative practices to help students navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, grief, peer conflict, etc. Beyond the school walls, Charles mentors youth in the community, equipping them with tools for growth, resilience, and success.

Guided by his favorite quote, “Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story,” Charles strives daily to “BE THE ONE” for students. His commitment to building strong relationships and creating a supportive environment makes him a trusted advocate for students, families, and colleagues alike.
