Mrs. Tara Faircloth - Director of Curriculum and Instruction

Tara Faircloth is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Caesar Rodney School District. She has spent her entire career in the district working as a teacher, an administrator, supervisor and now the director at the district office. She enjoys working with children, teachers, parents, and members of the community. Her approach to education is TEAM!

Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, and 2 children. She is motivated to seek out best practices in education that can be implemented in classrooms that have a positive impact on children.

Dr. Darren Guido - Supervisor of Instruction

​Dr. Darren Guido began his educational career in 1991 as a social studies teacher at Central Middle School in the Capital School District. In November 1998, he accepted a “temporary” position as Assistant to the Principal. In 1999, he became an associate principal and in 2004 became Central Middle School’s building principal. In 2011, Dr. Guido was awarded the Delaware Principals’ Academy’s Paul Carlson Memorial Award and the Delaware Library Association’s School Administrator of the Year award. Dr. Guido was named the 2013 Met Life/ NASSP Middle School Principal of the Year for Delaware.

In 2013, Dr. Guido became a Supervisor of Instruction in the Capital School District’s curriculum office. His areas of responsibility include English/ language arts, social studies and world language (grades 5-12), English as a Second Language, Visual Arts and Library/ Media Centers (K-12), and Advanced Placement (grades 10-12). In 2016, Dr. Guido transitioned to the Caesar Rodney School District as a Supervisor of Instruction for ELA, social studies, world language and English as a Second Language.

Dr. Jennifer Martin - Supervisor of Instruction

Dr. Jennifer Martin taught elementary school in Middletown, DE prior to moving to an administrative position at W.B. Simpson Elementary as the Assistant Principal and then, eventually, Principal.  As a Supervisor, Dr. Martin will be working with Middle School and High School CTE, DeSSA Testing, Health &PE, Visual & Performing Arts, School Counseling, MTSS, and Social-Emotional Learning.  Jenn is passionate about working with the Caesar Rodney School Community to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our Riders!  

 Outside of work, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys! She is a puzzle enthusiast and loves to problem-solve and share ideas with others.

Mrs. Lauren Boulden - Digital Learning Resource Teacher

​Lauren Boulden began her career in the Caesar Rodney School District as an English Language Arts teacher at Postlethwait Middle School. Lauren soon developed a passion for using technology to help engage and inspire her students and improve student achievement. Lauren has helped to spearhead the implementation of technology across the district as a classroom teacher, peer coach, and lead mentor. She has helped to develop and pilot blended learning strategies at the state level as a member of the BRINC consortium, and as an instructor at the University of Delaware teaching the use of technology in education. As the Digital Learning Resource Teacher, Lauren can help with Schoology, G Suite, SMART Software, Chromebooks, Blended Learning strategies, and general classroom support.

​Outside of education, Lauren spends her time with her husband Bryan, a Biology and STEM teacher, and her two future Riders Jack and Emma.

Mrs. Carolyn Bush (Carrie) - Instructional Technology Resource Teacher

Carrie Bush grew up in Pennsylvania; however, Delaware has been her home for over 25 years.  Her passions include working on a team, problem solving, helping others, using technology, and being creative so when she landed  her dream career as a district Digital Learning Resource teacher,  it was a perfect fit. Carrie is a district super admin for Schoology, a Google Educator, and a SMART certified trainer, so if teachers have any questions about how to use these tools to blend instruction, they should absolutely reach out to her.  She can answer questions, provide resources, and be that second pair of hands in the classroom when teachers want to try something new with students.

Mrs. Sarah Potter - Math Resource Teacher 6-12

​Sarah Potter is the Mathematics Instructional Resource Teacher for the Caesar Rodney School District.  She grew up in Delaware and attended Caesar Rodney High School. She began her teaching career at Postlethwait Middle School where she taught 7th and 8th grade math, and served as the math support teacher. In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with her husband, 4 children and family.  She enjoys exercising, going to the beach, and traveling to new places!  Sarah feels that mathematics classrooms should be a place where all students feel invited to learn and comfortable sharing their thinking. She feels passionately that every student can learn mathematics and that it opens doors in life like nothing else!

Jaime Campbell - Math Resource Teacher K - 5

Jaime Campbell is the K-5 Math Resource Teacher for the Caesar Rodney School District.  She grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  She later received her M.Ed from Clarion University.  She recently relocated to Magnolia with her husband and five daughters.  Four of her daughters are students in the district; with one being a future rider.  She joins the CR team with several years of Pre-k through 6th grade teaching and instructional coaching experience.  She has a joy for teaching math to young learners and finding ways to make math fun, enjoyable, and loved at an early age.  She is excited to support the math students, families, and teachers in the district.  In her spare time, Jaime enjoys watching football, cooking, traveling to new places, and spending time with her children, husband, family.

Brittany Cole - Science Resource Teacher K-12

Brittany Cole is the Science Specialist for the Caesar Rodney School District.  She graduated from Smyrna High School. She currently resides in Clayton with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys kayaking, camping, and traveling.  As the K-12 Science Specialist, she will be responsible for supporting all your curriculum needs. She is eager to work directly with the district’s science teachers and instructional coaches. Ms. Mary MacPherson - Reading Resource Teacher 3-6

Mimi grew up in Dover, Delaware and is a proud graduate of the Caesar Rodney School District.  Her experiences as both a primary and intermediate classroom teacher, Reading Specialist and Building Lead Mentor led her to her current position as an Instructional Support Teacher.  She has always enjoyed collaborating with colleagues and members of the school community to bring the best experiences there are to the students and teachers in our district.  Mimi can provide support in the areas listed on the right, but can also be called on to brainstorm, collaborate, and be an extra set of hands in the classroom.

Mr. Todd Klawinski - Environmental Education Specialist

Todd Klawinski grew up in New York State. After moving to South Jersey, he began his career studying pinelands ecosystems at Stockton State College (now Stockton University). Hired as a biologist with Rutgers University’s Center for Blueberry and Cranberry Research, Todd worked on projects including cranberry genetics for Ocean Spray and integrated pest management with USDA. Todd chose to enter the teaching profession as Biology and Environmental Science Teacher with Mainland Regional School District and NJ Governor’s School on the Environment.

After moving to Texas, employed as Education Supervisor at San Antonio Zoo’s Tiny Tot Nature Spot, Todd returned east to build and be near family. He has been with CRSD since 2006 teaching middle school science before joining the Instruction Team as Environmental Specialist in 2017. Todd is passionate about outdoor education returning to public schools and advocates for sustainable schools that promote health and wellness. But seriously, he just loves learning and teaching kids about nature and how to grow up being kind while contributing to community.

Dr. Oribel McFann-Mora - Language Acquisition Coordinator, ELL Teacher

Dr. McFann-Mora is passionate about all matters related to CR English Learners, Second Language Acquisition, and Linguistics. She is always happy and willing to help in the classroom, teaching, working with families, and collaborating with staff. Dr. McFann-Mora attended Delaware Technical and Community College and obtained two Associate degrees in Early Childhood Education. She attended Wilmington University and obtained her Bachelors in Elementary Education, Masters in ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) Literacy and Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. She has been an advocate for DE English Learners and their families for several years and continues participating in local and state committees and initiatives seeking to showcase and strengthen CR and DE English Learners' rich assets, diversity, and contributions. Some of Dr. McFann-Mora's other passions are her family, nature stewardship, spearheading educational programs and initiatives, volunteering, running, traveling, enjoying the beach, and reading.

Mrs. ​Lindsay Chiavaroli - Administrative Secretary

​Lindsay Chiavaroli is the Administrative Secretary for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She worked in the criminal justice system for 14 years before coming to CR in 2017.  Lindsay assists with filing applications for our Immersion Teachers to help them obtain proper visas so they are able to stay and teach our Immersion Program to students. She is responsible for preparing each petition and filing the appropriate documentation with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. She also works with maintaining and processing financial documents. 
 
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband, who is a third-grade teacher in the Caesar Rodney School District and their three children who are also students in the district.

Mrs. Gloria Simpson - Financial Secretary

Gloria Simpson is the financial secretary for the Department of Instruction.  She is a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and was the previous secretary for Star Hill Elementary School for 27 years.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She also enjoys reading and traveling. Cruising is her favorite!
