Ms. Melissa Rutherford

This is Ms. Rutherford’s second year teaching 4th grade in the Caesar Rodney School District. Previously, she taught special education in Maryland for three years and special education for one year with Capital School District. Ms. Rutherford earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education in 2016 from Juniata College. She is originally from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania but has lived in Delaware for the past three years. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and watching Philadelphia sports. Ms. Rutherford is excited to continue her teaching career with the Robinson community!

Ms. Michelle Lesher

This is Ms. Lesher’s 10th year teaching and 5th year here in Delaware. She moved from Langhorne, PA in 2018 to teach fourth grade then spent the last 3 years in first grade. Ms. Lesher studied Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Kutztown University and is currently working on her Masters in Special Education at Wilmington University. When she’s not teaching, Ms. Lesher enjoys spending time with her Fiance, Matt, and their dogs Leo and Marvin.

Mrs. Anne Coleman

Mrs. Coleman is currently a 4th grade teacher teaching Reading and Social Studies.  She was a teacher at Star Hill Elementary for 8 years before moving to Robinson Elementary in 2021.  She has experience teaching 3rd and 4th grade.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Delaware and her Master’s Degree from Wilmington University.  She is dual-certified in both Elementary and Special Education.  She was married to her husband Don in 2000.  Together they have 3 children: Emma, Julia, & Grant.
