In 2011 and 2013, Resource and Development Committees identified the needs of the
District and made recommendations to expand our schools as well as increasing our operating budget.
Those recommendations were based on increased enrollment forecasts that have
proven to be accurate. The time for action is now.
Over the last four years by managing grants and Federal funds the district has been able to maintain programs and staff.With the loss of Federal funds and the reduction of state funds, the district has needed
to use local funds which have not been increased since 2002.The following table shows the Per Pupil Tax Rate collected by every District in the State and Caesar Rodney’s $604 is the lowest in the State.
