    To RISE UP we are asking all FMS people to be the BEST Riders and show Respect, Integrity, Selflessness and Excellence no matter where you are in the building, on the bus, on the athletic field, at home, in the car and at the stores. Who can showcase the RISE UP attitude?  Who can be the best Rider?

    Students coming off the bus --- please take care of your responsibilities:
    –take absent/sick notes to the main office
    –take physical sports forms to the nurses' office
    –take lunch money to the cafeteria
    –eat breakfast before going to your locker or first period
    –charge your chromebooks at night so you are ready for daily school work.
    Be PROACTIVE for your day and set yourself up for SUCCESS!!

    Congratulations to the volleyball teams!! Volleyball beats Milford Middle in 2 sets. One scoring 25 - 8 and the second being 25 - 9. Great Win Ladies!

    Attention, Mrs. LeNoir's beginning band students, your band lesson has begun. You will bring your labeled instrument to the band room, which is located in the back hallway across from the gym at the beginning of the school day. Prior to coming to your lesson, you are asked to check in with your teacher first before coming to your lesson. Bring all your belongings, instruments, and essential elements book to your lesson. Reach out to Mrs. LeNoir through Schoology with any questions.

    There will be two student council meetings this week for members only. Members will be receiving a card today letting them know if they are in student council. The meetings will be Wednesday, October 5th until 3:15 in room 211 and Thursday, October 6th until 3:15 with TSA Members. 

    TSA Members! If you signed up to help with the Homecoming Float, there will be a meeting on Wednesday, October 5th from 2:30-3:30PM. If you have questions, see Mr. Pierce or Ms. Henault.

    The Fifer Yearbook is on sale now!!! The yearbook is discounted to $30 with 4 free icons until Friday, September 30th then the price will increase to $40 on Saturday, October 1st. Click on the order form on the Fifer website to order.

    Art Club will begin with an interest meeting on Thursday, October 27th. In the meantime, you need to pick up a newsletter and permission form from the table outside the art room. DO NOT interrupt a class to ask for a permission form!! They will be outside the art room on the table.

    FIFER SCHOOL STORE has ALL your school necessities. OPEN during ALL THREE lunch periods on WEDNESDAY’s!!! It is in the cafeteria. You can see a list of everything available on the Fifer website under programs. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Woody in Room 148.

    Home Access: Want to be up-to-date on attendance, missing work, testing results, grades and teacher comments. 1) Go to https://hac.doe.k12.de.us/HomeAccess/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=%2fhomeaccess 2) Switch to Caesar Rodney 3) Login is 1st three letters of first name, first three letters of last name, last three numbers of student id (no spaces or capitals); 3) Password is 1st letter of first name capitalized, 1st letter of last name lower case, student id (with leading zeros if needed to bring number to 7 digits), followed by dollar sign (no spaces). If you are a guardian or parent and do not have your own login and password, please stop by the main office and they can set you up with entry to this information.

    ALL Students: You must turn in your absent and sick notes when you return to the school to AVOID lunch detention. It needs to be turned in immediately first thing in the morning as you enter the building. Stop by the office and see Ms. Henry to turn in or if you have any questions on this issue. You can also email these notes to FMSattendance@cr.k12.de.us
