Hello! My name is Mr. Barry.  This will be my seventh year teaching, and my second year at Star Hill. I obtained my teaching degree from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA, class of 2011. I moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina to start my career in education, and eventually moved to Delaware to be closer to family in the summer of 2018.  My wife and I have a handsome two year old boy and a precious baby girl, born in the Spring of 2019. I look forward to teaching fifth grade again this year at Star Hill, and am very proud to be a part of the great team that serves our community.

Jamie Ecklund graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2017. Mrs. Ecklund has a background in private education and visual design which has aided her ability to be creative in the classroom and bring a different perspective to the learning process. This is her eighth year in education and she is excited to be returning to 5th grade as a Special Education teacher. 

Mrs. Ecklund enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and family and is honored to be a part of the Star Hill Community.

My name is Ashley Ganley I am going on my tenth year of teaching in the Caesar Rodney School District, but this is my first year at Star Hill Elementary. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Delaware State University, a Master's Degree in Teacher Administration from University of Delaware, and am currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Teacher Leadership from Wilmington University.

Mrs. Ganley has previously taught grades 2-5. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Nic, their dog Roo and cat Jude. She is a Caesar Rodney High School graduate and even attended Star Hill Elementary. She is happy to be back in an elementary school that she loved so much as a child!
