  • Superintendent's Message

    Rider Nation:

    It is an honor to introduce myself as the Superintendent of the Caesar Rodney School District.  I am proud to share that I began my career in this very district in 1998, as a teacher at Star Hill Elementary.  I also had the privilege of being an Assistant Principal at W.B. Simpson Elementary, the Principal at Nellie Hughes Stokes Elementary, and a Supervisor of Instruction for the district. In addition, I coached both soccer and wrestling at Caesar Rodney High School and Postlethwait Middle School.  It is exciting to be back where my educational journey began.
      
    On Thursday, August 31, 2023, the district held the annual Welcome Back Breakfast for staff.  This was an amazing event and I was so impressed with the “Welcome Back” presentation in the auditorium.  What energy!  I could feel the passion that everyone had for being a Rider!   It was great to see the CR staff as excited as I am for this school year. 
      
    On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, we welcomed our students back for the 2023-2024 school year. The students were just as excited to be back and are off to a great start.  As a district, we look forward to this school year and all the educational experiences and opportunities ahead.  I look forward to meeting everyone.
