Mrs. Amanda Johnson
My name is Amanda Johnson and I currently work as a Level IV science teacher for grades 6-8. I am a graduate of the University of Delaware and am currently working on my Masters in Education. This is my sixth year teaching, and my third year at Postlethwait Middle. Throughout the past six years, I have had the opportunity to teach the best kids. I have learned that students do the best they can when they can, and thrive when given high expectations and supports. Our school community is able to provide our students with the instruction and resources that they need along with the love that they deserve. It is an honor to both work at Postlethwait and be named the Teacher of the Year.
The Caesar Rodney School District is accepting nominations for the 2021 District Educational Support Professional of the Year. (Paraprofessionals, Custodians, Secretaries/Clerks, Crossing Guards, Child Nutrition Staff and Transportation Staff)
Who is eligible to nominate? YOU are!

We encourage students to nominate educational support staff who are or have been positive influences in their lives, have made school a “great” place to be, and have offered needed support in the building (classroom, cafeteria, hallways, grounds) or on the bus.
How do you nominate an Educational Support Professional?
