Ms. Andrea M. Davis
Andrea has 15 years with the State of Delaware and she currently serves as the school social worker. She has 17+ years of experience and education working with women, children, and families in schools, homes, and communities . Her experience includes clinical and generalist social work serving families through mental access, treatment, and interventions. Andrea services as the liaison for families in the school, home, and community and seeks to provide a holistic system of care for families. She works with the families that have been displaced and need additional resources for transitioning. She provides additional classroom supports to students and parent training to the teachers.
Not only is Andrea your school social worker, she is a mental health professional that can support your student and family with a number of mental health needs. Her goal and mission is to ensure that families have access to every opportunity they need to optimize the care of their student and future goals
Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Delaware State University. She completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at Widener University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Psychology with a specialization in Mental Health Administration from the University of the Rockies in Denver, Colorado and will graduate in November 2015.
